Rockcliffe Farm Retreat offers relaxing recreation in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Groups can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming in the James River, and bird watching. You may also want to bring your bicycle, canoe, or horse to enjoy the beautiful forested landscape along our many trails and country roads.

Your group can visit for the day, stay overnight, or for an extended stay in our cozy Lodge. The Lodge is ideal for friends vacationing together, family reunions, church and business retreats, school groups, honeymooners, and artists of all sorts.

We are easily accessible (within 30 minutes) from the Town of Appomattox and the City of Lynchburg, Virginia.

Our mission is to preserve this property from development, retain as much contiguous forest as possible and provide a location for everyone to enjoy the quiet joys that can only be experienced by being in the woods.
