Spring is coming to the woods and trails, creeks and James River at Rockcliffe Farm Retreat. Spring means wildflowers. Prepare to be dazzled. Hike with your camera and wildflower guide book. Bluebells abound down by the river. The rare Lady’s Slipper has its special nook on one of our more secluded trails—ask us to show you.

Don't live in Virginia? You’re in for a treat: flowering trees are everywhere and the aromas are fabulous. All the seasons here are so enjoyable that it’s hard to pick a favorite, some say it’s Spring. Come decide for yourself.

NEW this summer: Womens’ Retreats. Bring your group of 3-6 for a week and we’ll feed, entertain, and relax you. Give us a call.

Can’t get away now? Book for the fall colors in October. Railroad Festival in Appomattox, Saunders’ Orchard for the best Asian pears, live music, fruits and jams, then the Wine and Garlic Festival, and on and on.
