Outside the Lodge
The patio is an all-purpose space. Use the 8-person table for your outdoor dinner, with kids eating on the nearby wooden deck (Musicians & landscape painters: you'll love this deck!). Have dessert (s'mores, of course) around one of the two fire pits we have "ready to light". There's a basketball hoop, 3 picnic tables, and a long field (good for wedding tents, parking for your event, or a good soccer game). There's a trail that goes down to a stream and picnic table below the Lodge, and another that takes you through the woods to our picnic site at the James River (2 miles). |
